2 DPD officers hospitalized after collision with suspected drunk driver
DALLAS, TX – Two Dallas police officers were hospitalized Tuesday after being hit by a suspected drunk driver, WFAA reports.
John Gutierrez, 33, collided with the officers’ vehicle near Abrams Road and Royal Lane.
Both officers went to a nearby hospital via private vehicle. We do not know the severity of their injuries at this time.
Gutierrez is facing charges of driving while intoxicated and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
