4 teens hurt, another critically, in Dallas car-jacking and robbery-turned-crash
DALLAS, TX – Four teenagers are left in stable condition, and another juvenile is in critical condition as a result of a carjacking and robbery-turned crash.
The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. last Tuesday on the 5400th block of Bruton Road, according to CBS News. At a nearby apartment, one person called 911, reporting an act of robbery and carjacking.
Dallas Police located the suspect while driving and attempted to pull them over. The suspect did not stop, which led to a pursuit.
The chase ended when the suspect crashed the vehicle they stole into another vehicle near 2nd Avenue.
The five teenagers inside the second vehicle were all injured. Police believed they were between 14 and 15 years old. EMS crews rushed the juveniles to a hospital for treatment.
No police officers were injured in the crash.
Police did not report any arrests or say whether the second vehicle was moving or stationary.
