Arrest made following deadly wrong-way crash in Duncanville
DUNCANVILLE, TX – The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office arrested a suspect following a deadly wrong-way crash in Duncanville overnight.
DCSO told WFAA that the incident began before midnight when the suspect stole a vehicle in Irving. The suspect drove away and, on U.S. 67, crashed into another vehicle.
One person in the second vehicle succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while two others in that vehicle were taken to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Deputies arrested the suspect and said they are being charged with intoxication manslaughter.
Deputies did not release the victim’s or suspect’s identity or provide additional commentary on the wrong-way crash.
