7 injured in chase-turned-crash in Grand Prairie 

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX – Seven people were injured in a chase-turned-crash in Grand Prairie on Saturday. 

The incident happened before 11 p.m. Grand Prairie police told Fox4News that officers were briefly pursuing a sedan on Interstate 30 before ending it just before State Highway 161. 

Just after ending the pursuit, the suspect crashed into at least four vehicles before coming to rest in a grassy shoulder on the freeway. 

At least seven people sustained serious to non-life-threatening injuries and had to go to the hospital for treatment. 

Arlington police assisted Grand Prairie police at the scene of the crash. 

Grand Prairie police did not specify the reasoning behind the pursuit or share any information on the suspect.
