Mayvel Alexandra Morales Killed, Six Injured in DUI Crash on Interstate 10 near Tornillo in El Paso County
El Paso County, TX. (August 4, 2021)- 33-year-old Mayvel Alexandra Morales was killed, and six others were injured in a two-vehicle crash on August 1, 2021 in El Paso County, Texas. The accident occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Interstate 10 near Tornillo, Texas. Deputies reported that a wrong-way driver crashed head-on into another vehicle driven by Morales. Morales was transported to Del Sol Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries. Six other people were taken to area hospitals with unknown injuries. The wrong-way driver was charged and arrested for intoxication manslaughter. No further details have been provided at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
