Cordell Jackson Killed, One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Wadsworth Drive at Great Trinity Forest Way in Dallas

Dallas, TX. (August 26, 2021)- Cordell Jackson was killed, and another was injured in a two-vehicle crash on August 25, 2021 in Dallas, Texas. The accident occurred early Wednesday morning at the Wadsworth Drive at Great Trinity Forest Way intersection. Police reported that the driver of a stolen Toyota Camry was being pursued by police when they ran a red light and crashed into a Chevrolet Impala driven by Jackson. Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the Impala was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The driver and 3 passengers in the stolen vehicle were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. The driver of the stolen Camry will be charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, evading arrest, unlawfully carrying a weapon and murder. No further details have been provided at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
