Roberto Fuentes Killed, Stephen Edwards Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. 70 near FM 303 in Lamb County
Lamb County, TX. (October 22, 2021)- 59-year-old Roberto Fuentes was killed, and 68-year-old Stephen Edwards was injured in a two-vehicle crash on October 20, 2021, in Lamb County, Texas. The accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on U.S. 70 near FM 303. Police reported that Fuentes was traveling eastbound in a Ford Escort when a Chevrolet Silverado attempted to turn left in front of him. The two vehicles then collided. Fuentes was pronounced dead at the scene. Edwards, the driver of the Chevrolet, was transported to University Medical Center with serious injuries. No further details have been provided at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
