Driver killed in fiery single-vehicle crash in West Dallas
DALLAS, TX – A single-vehicle crash in west Dallas early Friday claimed the life of one person.
According to a report by Fox 4, the collision occurred when a driver lost control of their vehicle at a high rate of speed on Wycliff Avenue, near the intersection with Irving Boulevard. The vehicle skidded off the roadway, stuck a utility pole, and slammed into a nearby business before becoming engulfed in flames.
First responders found the driver unresponsive inside the vehicle once the fire was extinguished. They were pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
