Victims of Fort Worth auto vs. motorcycle crash on I-20 identified
FORT WORTH, TX – Additional information has been released regarding a fatal motorcycle versus auto collision that happened along the interstate last Saturday night, reports NBC DFW 5.
The incident happened on the night of Saturday, February 4th, on the eastbound side of I-20 near South Hulen Street in Fort Worth.
Authorities have clarified that one of the victims in the crash had been involved in an earlier collision and was attempting to exchange insurance information when a motorcycle crashed into the rear of his vehicle.
Both the motorcyclist and the man from the vehicle died at the scene of the collision.
Police have not released the name of the motorcyclist, but they identified the driver of the car as 26-year-old Sergio Torres.
A passenger in the car, identified as Yarelis Martinez, sustained injuries in the crash.
The couple’s three-year-old son was not injured.
