2-vehicle crash kills 1 on MacArthur Blvd and Valley Ranch

IRVING, TX – A 20-year-old woman died on Thursday night after her vehicle collided with another vehicle at a busy intersection in Irving, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened around 10 p.m. at North MacArthur Boulevard and Valley Ranch Parkway South, which is north of I-635 in the Valley Ranch area.

Police say a southbound driver failed to yield while making a left turn from MacArthur onto Valley Ranch and collided with the front of a northbound vehicle.

Medics transported a passenger from the southbound vehicle to the hospital, where she died from injuries sustained in the crash. Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim.

It’s unclear if anyone else sustained injuries in the collision.

A full investigation is underway.
