Steven Hernandez Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on Edgemere Boulevard at Joe Battle Boulevard in El Paso
El Paso, TX. (May 26, 2023)- 28-year-old Steven Anthony Hernandez was killed in a two-vehicle crash on May 21, 2023, in El Paso, Texas. The accident occurred shortly before 3:00 a.m. at the Edgemere Boulevard and Joe Battle Boulevard intersection. Police reported that the driver of a northbound 2020 Jeep Wrangler ran the red light and collided with an eastbound 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour. Hernandez, a passenger in the Honda, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Jeep was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter. No further details have been provided at the time. The crash remains under investigation.
