2 killed in 2-vehicle crash on I-20WB near Markum Ranch
FORT WORTH, TX – Two people died on Friday evening from injuries sustained in a collision involving two vehicles along the interstate in the Markum Ranch area.
According to DFW Scanner, the incident happened around 6 p.m. on the westbound side of I-20 near Markum Ranch Road, which is just north of the Big Horn Travel Center.
The cause of the accident is still unclear. Police say that two people died at the scene after efforts to resuscitate them failed. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims to the public.
Officials closed the westbound side of I-20 in the vicinity of the crash while crews worked to clear the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
