Vehicle strikes, seriously injures child in central Tarrant County
HALTOM CITY, TX – A child sustained serious injuries Saturday night when a vehicle struck them near a busy intersection in Haltom City, reports DFW Scanner.
Auto Pedestrian (Haltom City) Haltom City FD, PD, and MedStar EMS are working a pedestrian struck by a vehicle near Tommy Watkins Drive and Legend Point Drive. Battalion 47 and Engine 471 on scene, reported to be a child struck by a vehicle. One with serious injuries.

The incident happened sometime before 8 p.m. near the intersection of Tommy Watkins Drive and Legend Pointe Drive, which is north of East Long Avenue and east of North Beach Street.
Police have not yet shared many details regarding the accident. It is unclear at this time if the vehicle remained at the scene of the accident.
