Pedestrian killed in crash involving multiple vehicles on US-75 in Plano

PLANO, TX – A pedestrian was fatally struck by multiple vehicles while attempting to cross a highway in Plano early Sunday.

According to the Dallas Morning News, the pedestrian was attempting to cross the southbound lanes of US-75 near Parker Road at about 12:45 a.m. when they were hit by the first vehicle. Before emergency crews arrived, the pedestrian was hit by at least one more vehicle at the scene.

The victim, whose identity s is unclear at this time, died at the scene. The reasons behind their attempt to cross the busy roadway are currently unknown.
