Fort Worth hit-and-run at Hwy 21 and Sylviana kills 1, hurts 2

FORT WORTH, TX – Police are looking for a driver that fled on foot Sunday after a two-vehicle collision near the Scenic Bluff area in Fort Worth.

According to WFAA 8, the incident happened just before 12:30 a.m. on Highway 21, or Airport Freeway, at North Sylviana Avenue, which is just east of the West Fork Trinity River and southeast of Riverside Park.

The investigation thus far indicates that one vehicle struck another vehicle and that driver of the first car exited their vehicle and ran from the scene.

One of the three occupants from the second vehicle died at the scene of the accident. Police have not yet released their identity to the public.

Medics transported two additional patients to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
