Police share details of fatal crash on Airport Fwy in Richland Hills

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX – Authorities have shared additional information regarding a fatal collision that happened Thursday in North Richland Hills.

According to DFW Scanner, the incident happened just after 8 a.m. on the eastbound side of the Airport Freeway near the exit for Precinct Line, which is just northeast of North East Mall.

The investigation indicates that a motorcyclist struck the fender of a semi-truck while attempting to pass on the shoulder of the Airport Freeway.

The motorcyclist died at the scene. Officials have not yet released their identity to the public.

No other injuries have been reported at this time, but the investigation is ongoing.
