Solo accident on I-35 SB near Milam Rd in Denton kills 1

DENTON, TX – A 23-year-old man died on Friday morning after crashing his vehicle along the interstate north of Denton, reports DFW Scanner.

The accident happened around 9 a.m. on the southbound side of I-35 near Milam Road, which is north of Explorium – Denton Children’s Museum and just south of Sanger.

Police say that a vehicle carrying two people hit the median on the highway and overturned.

Medics transported both the driver and the passenger to a local hospital. One of the two people died after transport. Authorities have not yet released his name to the public. The condition of the other person is unknown at this time.

A full investigation is underway.
