Accident on US-80 WB before Lawson slows late-morning traffic

DALLAS, TX – A collision along the westbound side of the highway in Sunnyvale delayed traffic on Tuesday just before midday, reports KRLD Traffic.

The incident happened around 11:11 a.m. on US-80 westbound just before Lawson Road, which is just south of Lake Ray Hubbard and north of Mesquite Metro Airport.

The circumstances of the crash are still unclear, and authorities have not yet clarified whether anyone was hurt.

The collision blocked the left lane of traffic in the vicinity of the crash. Crews worked quickly and were able to clear the scene by around 11:30 a.m.
