Head-on crash on FM 1902 near Chisholm Trail Pkwy kills 17-year-old passenger

JOHNSON CO., TX – A 17-year-old boy died on Tuesday after the vehicle in which he riding collided head on with another vehicle on a roadway near Burleson.

According to DFW Scanner, the accident occurred on FM 1902 near Chisholm Trail Parkway, which is northwest of Joshua and southwest of Burleson.

The investigation thus far indicates that the driver of a northbound SUV carrying two teens collided head-on with a southbound SUV while attempting to use the southbound lane for passing.

A teen passenger in the first SUV died at the scene of the accident.

Medics transported the both drivers to local hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
