Critical injuries reported in solo crash at North Fwy near TX-183

FORT WORTH, TX – Three people sustained critical injuries Sunday in a single-vehicle accident along the freeway near the Fort Worth Stockyards.

According to Fox 4, the incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. on the southbound side of the North Freeway near TX-183, which is just east of Trail Drivers Park and west of Mount Olivet Cemetery.

The investigation thus far indicates that for unknown reasons, a driver lost control of their vehicle and crashed alongside the freeway.

Police say the collision caused the vehicle to be severed in half.

Medics transported three people to the hospital with serious injuries. A fourth occupant of the vehicle has not been located.

A full investigation is underway.
