Sedan rear-ends semi on the DNT near Forest Ln, killing man

DALLAS, TX – A 36-year-old man from Dallas died early Sunday morning after his sedan collided with an 18-wheeler along the tollway in North Dallas.

According to DFW Scanner, the collision occurred around 2:58 a.m. on the Dallas North Tollway near Forest Lane, which is south of I-635 in the Melshire Estates Area.

Police say that the victim’s sedan rear-ended a semi that had stopped along the roadway after an earlier accident. Authorities pronounced the driver of the sedan deceased at the scene. They have not yet released his name to the public.

No other injuries have been mentioned in connection to the collision.

A full investigation is underway.
