Solo crash on the DNT near W Park Blvd in Plano kills motorcyclist
PLANO, TX – A 23-year-old motorcyclist died on Tuesday night in Plano after a solo crash along the Dallas North Tollway, reports DFW Scanner.
The incident happened around 8:32 p.m. on the southbound side of the DNT near West Park Boulevard, which is near the Glen Meadows area.
Police say that for unknown reasons, the motorcyclist left the roadway and collided with a crash attenuator on the side of the highway.
The man died at the scene. Authorities have not yet released his identity.
Officials closed the southbound side of the DNT while crews worked to clear the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
