Collision on I-20 WB at 820/287 split in Fort Worth blocks traffic

FORT WORTH, TX – Crews responded to a major accident with road closures Sunday night along the interstate in southeast Fort Worth, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened around 8:16 p.m. on the westbound side of I-20 near the junction with I-820 and US-287, which is just west of Lake Arlington.

Police haven’t shared any details about the collision except to say that it closed all lanes of I-20 westbound while crews investigated and worked to clear scene.

There’s no word yet on injuries, and it’s unclear how many vehicles were involved.
