Vehicle strikes, injures 2 pedestrians near 600 Wichita St in Everman

EVERMAN, TX – Two people went to the hospital on Tuesday after a vehicle struck them on a busy roadway in south-central Tarrant County, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened sometime before 7:43 p.m. in Everman. Crews responded to the area of Wichita Street and Dayspring Drive, which is just north of Everman Memorial Park.

Police say that the two pedestrians sustained major injuries. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Officials encouraged motorists to avoid the area while crews worked at the scene.
