2-vehicle collision at Bonnie View and Judge Dupree kills driver

DALLAS, TX – A driver died Wednesday when their vehicle entered the path of a pickup truck, and the two vehicles collided at a busy Dallas intersection.

According to DFW Scanner, the incident happened around 2:35 p.m. near the intersection of Bonnie View Road and Judge Dupree Drive, which is just west of Alta Mesa Park.

Police say the sedan pulled in front of a southbound pickup truck while the driver attempted to turn left from Judge Dupree onto northbound Bonnie View.

Authorities have not yet identified the victim’s identity.

Medics transported the driver of the pickup truck in stable condition to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
