Rollover crash involving semi on US-287 SB in Mansfield blocks traffic

MANSFIELD, TX – Police responded to a major accident involving an 18-wheeler along the highway in southeast Tarrant County on Monday, reports NBC DFW 5.

The incident happened just before noon on the southbound side of US-287 between Lone Star Road and Texas 360. This is just north of Pecan Creek Farm in southeast Mansfield.

Police haven’t yet commented on what caused the flatbed semi-truck to crash and overturn, nor have they released any information regarding injuries.

Officials closed the southbound lanes of the highway in the area of the crash while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene. All lanes re-opened by around 4:30 p.m.
