Several ambulances dispatched to crash near St. Augustine and Elam
DALLAS, TX – Emergency crews responded to the scene of a major crash with entrapment in the Pleasant Grove area on Saturday morning, reports DFW Scanner.
Accident w/ Entrapment (Dallas) Engine 51 is on scene of a major accident in the 400 block of N. St Augustine Road, requesting three ambulances and a heavy rescue response for extrication. It’s best to avoid this area.

The incident happened sometime before 9:21 a.m. in the area of 400 North St. Augustine Road, which is just south of the intersection with Elam Road. This is east of Crawford Memorial Park.
At least one person required extrication after becoming entrapped in their vehicle. It’s not yet clear how the accident occurred, nor do we know how many vehicles were involved. Injuries are likely, as three ambulances responded to the scene.
Officials requested that motorists avoid this area of St. Augustine Road while medics attended to the victims and clean-up crews worked to clear the wreckage.
