Ambulance dispatched to alleged DUI crash at University and Lancaster

Fort Worth, TX – Officials dispatched an ambulance to the scene of an alleged DUI crash on Monday evening in Fort Worth’s cultural district, reports Aol.

The incident happened around 7:50 p.m. at the intersection of University Drive and West Lancaster Avenue, which is just north of the Fort Worth Botanic Garden.

Police say that the driver of a black pickup truck lost control of their vehicle and crashed in to a utility pole near the intersection.

It’s not yet clear if anyone sustained injuries in the collision, though emergency medical teams did respond to the scene along with utility crews.

Authorities suspect that the driver may have been intoxicated at the time of the accident.

A full investigation is underway.
