Collision on I-35W NB near Ripy St delays afternoon traffic

FORT WORTH, TX – Drivers faced significant delays Thursday afternoon following a crash along the interstate in south-central Fort Worth, reports KRLD Traffic.

The incident occurred sometime before 2 p.m. on the northbound side of I-35W near Ripy Street, which is just southwest of Echo Lake and north of Worth Heights Elementary School.

It’s not yet clear what happened or how many vehicles were involved in the accident. Photos taken at the scene indicate that ambulances and fire crews were dispatched to render aid. Photos also depict stalled traffic along the interstate.
