Diana Campuzano, 18, killed in 2-vehicle collision on FM 969

AUSTIN, TX – One person died, and three people sustained injuries last Saturday in a two-car crash in far-east Austin, reports KXAN. 

The fatal collision occurred around 9:15 a.m. on FM 969 near Sendero Hills Parkway in the Roger Hills area.

Austin Police haven’t disclosed the circumstances of the accident except to say that a passenger in one of the two cars died at the scene.

Authorities identified the victim as 18-year-old Diana Campuzano.

Medics transported three other people, including both drivers and a passenger, to an area hospital with unknown injuries. All three are expected to survive.

No charges have been filed thus far.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
