Accident on TX-183 EB near Loop 12 in Irving blocks traffic

IRVING, TX – An early rush hour crash along the highway blocked traffic in Irving Friday morning, reports KRLD Traffic.

The incident happened on the eastbound side of TX-183 near the exit to Loop 12 southbound. This is just south of the University of Dallas on the northeast side of the city.

The crash is recent, and police have not yet disclosed injuries, the number of vehicles involved, or the cause of the collision.

Video footage taken at the scene indicates that an ambulance responded along with firefighters and police.

The wreck blocked the two right lanes of traffic on TX-183 eastbound while crews worked at the scene.
