Crash on I-30 WB before University Dr in Fort Worth blocks traffic

FORT WORTH, TX – A late morning car accident near the Cultural District in central Fort Worth created delays along the interstate, reports KRLD Traffic.

The accident happened just before noon on the westbound side of I-30 before University Drive, which is just south of the Fort Worth Botanic Garden.

There’s no word yet regarding injuries, the circumstances that led up to the crash, or the number of vehicles involved. Police and firefighters responded to the scene, as confirmed by video footage.

Officials say the wreck blocked the left two lanes of traffic on I-30 westbound while crews worked to clear the scene.
