Single-vehicle crash on NW 27th St in north Fort Worth kills 1, injures 2
FORT WORTH, TX – A single-vehicle crash on the northside of Fort Worth killed a woman and injured two other people early Monday, reports WFAA News 8.
The accident happened on northwest 27th Street between Robinson Street and Macie Avenue, which is southwest of Buck Sansom Park and northeast of Jacksboro Highway.
Police say that for unknown reasons, the driver of a speeding vehicle left the roadway and hit a telephone pole. The force of the collision threw two people from the vehicle, while a third became trapped in the wreckage.
Medics transported the two occupants that were ejected to the hospital with serious injuries.
The woman who became trapped in the vehicle died at the scene. Authorities have not yet released her identity to the public.
A full investigation is underway.
