Solo crash on I-30WB near TX-360 in Arlington kills 26-year-old Cedar Hill man

ARLINGTON, TX – A 26-year-old man died Tuesday evening in a single-vehicle rush-hour collision along the interstate in northeast Arlington, reports WFAA News 8.

The accident happened around 6:10 p.m. on the westbound side of I-30 near TX-360, which is just northeast of Six Flags Over Texas.

Police say that the unrestrained driver of a Chevy Impala lost control of his vehicle while attempting a hazardous lane change and crashed into a concrete barrier.

Authorities declared the Cedar Hill man deceased at the scene of the accident. They’ve not yet released his name to the public.

Officials closed I-30 westbound in the area of the crash and diverted traffic while emergency teams worked at the scene. All lanes re-opened by around 7 p.m.

A full investigation is underway.
