Jennifer Vivar arrested, child hurt in El Paso DUI collision
EL PASO, TX – A child sustained injuries last Sunday in a crash involving a drunk driver in the southeastern suburbs of El Paso, reports KVIA 7.
The incident occurred early in the morning on Cameldale Drive between Homedale Drive and Ellsworth Drive in the Sparks area.
Police say that 36-year-old Jennifer Vivar was intoxicated when she lost control of her Jeep Wrangler and struck three parked cars on Cameldale.
An unrestrained 6-year-old in the rear of the Jeep sustained injuries; it’s unclear if the child required hospitalization.
Authorities arrested Vivar on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Under 15 Years of Age.
