Injuries probable in entrapment crash at Main St and Hwy 67 in Cleburne

CLEBURNE, TX – An air ambulance reported to the scene of a major injury accident along Main Street in Cleburne on Thursday night, reports DFW Scanner.

The collision occurred sometime before 9:49 p.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Highway 67, which is near both Home Depot and Lowe’s Home Improvement.

Police haven’t yet identified the cause of the accident. They say that for unknown reasons, a driver lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a bridge pillar. At least one person became entrapped in the vehicle, requiring both extrication and air transport for injuries. There may have been more than one person in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Drivers likely experienced delays in the area of the crash while emergency teams worked to rescue the victim(s) and clear the scene.

A full investigation is underway. Our team of news writers will circle back with updates if and when we learn more about the cause of the accident.
