Injuries possible in entrapment crash on Dallas Parkway near US-380

FRISCO, TX – Two people became entrapped in their vehicle(s) Wednesday after a major crash along a busy roadway in west-central Collin County, reports DFW Scanner.

The accident happened sometime before noon on the northbound side of the Dallas Parkway, just north of US-380. This is just northwest of the Amazon warehouse in Frisco.

It’s not yet known what caused the crash or how many vehicles were involved. Police say that extrication measures were necessary to remove two people from the wreckage. It’s unclear if anyone involved in the accident required hospitalization.

Officials dispatched a hazmat team to address a fluid spill caused by the wreck.

As emergency teams worked at the scene, police asked motorists to avoid the area and seek an alternate route.

A full investigation is underway.
