3 injured in fiery crash on I-35E NB near Continental in Dallas

DALLAS, TX – Emergency teams responded to a major crash with injuries along the interstate near downtown Dallas on Thursday, reports NBC DFW 5.

The accident happened on the northbound side of I-35E near Continental Avenue, which is just north of TX-366 and west of the Dallas World Aquarium.

It’s not yet clear how many vehicles were involved or what caused the accident, but police say that at least one of the vehicles caught fire.

Two people went to the hospital in critical condition, and medics transported a third person with undisclosed injuries.

Officials closed the northbound side of I-35E in the area of the crash while crews attended to the victims and worked to clear the roadway.
