Multi-vehicle wreck on US-87 at March Rd kills 2, injures 3

TOM GREEN CO., TX – A three-vehicle crash on the northwestern outskirts of San Angelo killed a man and child last Thursday morning, reports GoSanAngelo.

The accident occurred just before 6 a.m. at US-87 and March Road, which is southeast of Grape Creek and north of San Angelo State Park.

Police say that the driver of a westbound 2022 Ford F-250 truck failed to heed a stop sign and struck a northbound 2024 Toyota Tundra truck. A northbound 2020 Chevrolet Spark SUV carrying two adults and three children then collided with the Ford F-250.

The driver of the Chevy and a 10-year-old passenger sustained fatal injuries. Authorities identified the driver as 41-year-old Rudy Ramos.

Medics transported the remaining three people from the Chevy to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

The other two drivers did not sustain injuries in the crash.

A full investigation is underway.
