Crash with ejection on NW Loop 286 near Main injures 2
PARIS, TX – Two people were hospitalized Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash along the highway on the north side of Paris, reports KXII 12.
The accident happened at night on Northwest Loop 286 just west of North Main Street. This is south of Lake Crook Park.
Police say the wreck involved a T-bone collision, the impact of which threw both drivers from their vehicles.
Medics airlifted one of the drivers to a Dallas-area hospital with serious injuries.
The other driver travelled via ground ambulance to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries.
It’s not yet clear which driver had the right of way prior to the accident.
A full investigation is underway.
