Multi-vehicle crash at US-75 near Spring Valley injures 1

DALLAS, TX – At least one person was hurt Friday in a multi-vehicle crash along the highway in northeast Dallas, reports WFAA News 8.

Emergency teams responded around 5:30 a.m. to the southbound side of US-75 near the intersection of West Spring Valley Road, which is just south of Richardson.

Police haven’t yet shared any details regarding the collision except to say that one person required hospitalization for unknown injuries. There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the accident, though officials say wet road conditions may have contributed.

Officials closed the highway and diverted traffic while crews worked to assist the victim(s) and clear the scene. All roads re-opened by 7 a.m.
