Solo crash on TX-191 in Midland claims Victor Castillo, 54

MIDLAND, TX – A 54-year-old Odessa man sustained fatal injuries last Monday in a single-vehicle accident along the highway in Midland, reports YourBasin.

The incident occurred shortly before 6 a.m. in the area of 10000 TX-191. This just east of the intersection with TX-349.

Police say that for unknown reasons, the victim’s 2010 Ford F250 rolled after leaving the highway and hitting a guide wire.

The unrestrained driver of the pickup truck, identified as Victor Castillo, died at the scene of the wreck.

There were no other passengers in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

A full investigation is underway.
