Fiona J. Adams, 22, killed in 2-vehicle crash along I-35

AUSTIN, TX – A 22-year-old woman died Saturday night in a two-vehicle collision along the interstate in east-central Austin, reports CBS Austin.

The accident happened shortly after 8 p.m. on the southbound frontage road for I-35 between East 43rd Street and East 40th Street, which is just west of Mueller Lake Park.

Police haven’t shared any details about the accident except to say that it involved a pickup truck carrying two people and a sedan.

The driver of the sedan, identified as Fiona J. Adams, died at the scene of the wreck.

The occupants of the pickup were not hurt in the crash.

Motorists likely encountered delays in the area of the collision while emergency teams responded to the scene.
