Nicholas Jesus DeBrei, 21, killed in Grapevine motorcycle crash

GRAPEVINE, TX – A man died last Tuesday in a two-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle on the southwest side of Grapevine, reports Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

The collision happened early in the morning on the eastbound side of Ira E. Woods Avenue near Mustang Drive. This is just north of Grapevine High School.

Police say that a westbound vehicle turned left from Ira E. Woods Avenue without yielding right-of-way to an eastbound motorcycle. The motorcycle struck the vehicle, and the operator was ejected.

Medics transported the motorcyclist to an area hospital, where he died from injuries sustained in the wreck. Authorities identified the victim as 21-year-old Nicholas Jesus DeBrei.

No charges have been announced thus far in connection to the crash.

A full investigation is underway.
