Man killed in 2-vehicle crash at Grissom and Old Grissom

SAN ANTONIO, TX – One man died, and another man sustained injuries Sunday afternoon in a crash involving at least two vehicles in northwest San Antonio, reports KSAT 12 News.

The accident happened just before 3 p.m. at Grissom Road and Old Grissom Road, which is west of Cathedral Rock Park in the Lindsey Place area.

Police haven’t yet shared any details about the cause of the wreck or the manner in which the vehicle impacted.

One person, who has been identified only as a 40-year-old man, went to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

Another person, identified as 56-year-old Alejandro Hernandez, died at the scene of the collision.

Motorists likely encountered significant delays in the area of the collision while emergency crews worked at the scene.
