Emmanuel Parra, 26, fatally injured in El Paso collision
EL PASO, TX – A 26-year-old man died last Tuesday from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle collision earlier this month in northwest El Paso, reports El Paso Times.
The crash occurred on Wednesday, March 5, at the intersection of Resler Drive and Tierra Taos Drive. This is just east of Westside Open Reserve.
Police say the victim’s northbound 2016 Kawasaki Ninja sports motorcycle crashed into a westbound 2021 Nissan Frontier when the driver of the latter vehicle failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign.
Medics transported the motorcyclist to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Authorities later identified the victim as Emmanuel Parra of New Mexico.
The driver and passenger from the Nissan went to the hospital with minor injuries.
There’s no word yet regarding charges, but the investigation is ongoing.
