Jordan Sam Ayasra, 37, killed in motorcycle crash in SW Austin

AUSTIN, TX – A motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries last Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash along the highway in the Westlake area of southwest Austin, reports KVUE.

The accident happened around 7 p.m. on the northbound side of South Capital of Texas Highway, or TX-360, near Parkstone Heights Drive. This is just northeast of Sculpture Falls.

Police haven’t disclosed the cause of the collision. They say it involved a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle.

Authorities declared the motorcycle operator, since identified as 37-year-old Jordan Sam Ayasra, deceased at the scene of the wreck.

The driver of the passenger vehicle did not sustain injuries and did remain at the scene to render aid and speak with police.

Drivers likely encountered delays along the northbound side of TX-360 while crews worked to clear the scene.

A full investigation is underway.
