Laqwetta Moore, 29, claimed in crash on I-35E in Lewisville

LEWISVILLE, TX – A 29-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries after crashing her vehicle into a Denton County lake last Saturday morning, reports WFAA News 8.

Shortly after 3:30 a.m., emergency teams received word of a single-vehicle accident at Lewisville Lake, just off of I-35E in Lewisville.

Police say that for unknown reasons, the driver lost control of their car, crashed through a guardrail, and landed in the lake.

Officials recovered the body of the deceased driver on Sunday and identified her as Laqwetta Robin Moore.

There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the wreck. No other vehicles were involved, and there were no additional passengers in the car at the time of the crash.
