Corey Ford killed in motorcycle crash on Kiker Rd near TX-121

JEFFERSON CO., TX – A 31-year-old man died Sunday in a two-vehicle motorcycle accident along a major roadway in west-central Jefferson County, reports KFDM 6.

The fatal collision occurred around 2:30 p.m. on Kiker Road near TX-121, which is just northeast of Winnie and about 24 miles southwest of Beaumont.

Police say that a motorcyclist was speeding when he lost control of his bike and crashed into a stop sign along Kiker Road. The bike then went on to hit a pickup truck.

The biker, identified as Corey Ford of Webster, succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the collision.

The driver of the pickup truck did not sustain injuries in the crash.

Motorists likely faced delays Sunday afternoon in the area of Kiker Road and TX-121 while emergency teams worked at the scene.
