Brittany Lesikar, Abraham Zamora killed in Memorial Day crash

ARANSAS PASS, TX – A two-vehicle collision along the highway in Aransas Pass claimed two lives early Monday morning, reports KIITV 3 News.

The rollover accident occurred shortly before 3 a.m. on TX-361, or the Redfish Bay Causeway, north of Harbor Island Road. This is about 31 miles northeast of Corpus Christi.

The preliminary investigation indicates that a Dodge Ram 2500 carrying three people rear-ended a parked Kia sedan with two occupants, causing the pickup truck to overturn.

The driver of the Dodge and a passenger died from injuries sustained in the crash. Authorities identified the victims as Abraham Zamora, 32, and Brittany Lesikar, 40.

Medics transported a third person from the Dodge to an area hospital with injuries of unknown severity.

It’s unclear if anyone in the Kia sustained injuries. Police arrested the driver of the Kia on a charge of driving under the influence.

A full investigation is underway.
